Sweaterdresses
Cats: Dresses| No Comments » Stick your nose outside the window…smells like winter, right…so let’s review this winter’s must have – the sweaterdress. Now those things are totally adorable, but also totally tricky to wear. Meaning that unless you look like the models on the pictures, you better scratch them from your shopping list. Why am I being so mean – because the sweaterdress underlines your figure big time…and unless you have the body for it I don’t think you’ll feel good about yourself wearing it. Anyway it’s not something I can just pass by without reviewing, so I went through Victoria’s Secret website (again, if I may add) and picked up a couple of sweaterdresses to review for the lucky girls out there. They have quite a choice btw so feel free to cruise through the website yourself. Of both dresses I think I like the grey one better…it looks more casual to me. But then the white one is the better choice if you want something more businesslike. Both dresses are above the knee long…which is actually bad for the shorter girls…that length will make you look even shorter, so my advice to you is to go for another length (it won’t be a problem, because there’s plenty of choice on the market). This length is definitely for taller girls and I think it will look great. Both dresses are rib belted which is the best way to go if you ask me. If you move the belt you’re totally changing the style of the dresses (which may be a good think in some cases, now that I think about it). And by moving the belt, I mean wear it lower and not higher. There’s one more thing – the belt will accent on your waist even more, so here’s another reason to think about getting a dress like that before you actually do. What else – definitely heeled shoes…no exceptions and go easy on the accessories. Simple is better. So next time I’ll give you two more sweaterdresses, but as an option for those who don’t look like supermodels. There’s always a way, girls, there’s always a way.
